Lazy Sunday3/23/2015 07:47:00 AM
After a month of chaos, I finally got time off this weekend to just chill out and lounge around and it was the most relaxing and casual weekend in such a long time. There's something about a lazy Sunday that I just absolutely love, and living on my couch for two days doing absolutely nothing was so satisfying, I just had to share it with you all.
Wearing: striped top from Uniqlo, boyfriend jeans from American Eagle
Reading: TAO magazine volume 186
Going out is awesome but I am 100% a homebody 99% of the time. I don't know if it's because I grew up in the suburbs or because of my introverted tendencies, but in my mind there is definitely nothing that compares to a day spent on my couch (or in this case my bed) after a long and productive week. I don't think I'm ever as productive as I am when I'm working on a show, and tomorrow marks the opening day to the opera that I've been working on for the past few months. It's been quite a tame ride in comparison to some of the other shows I've done, but hard work nonetheless, and it all adds up to three performances and then it's all over. I'm actually really proud of the fact that I've managed to update and upload so much in what is one of the busiest couple of weeks of the school year and it feels good being consistent.
This outfit is as close as I will get to wearing pajamas outside especially since the top was taken from a pajama set from Uniqlo. It's just as comfortable as walking out with pajamas and absolutely perfect for the warming weather (though every time I mention that it's warming up the next day it decides to revert back to winter weather here). For something no fuss and hassle free, this is the perfect outfit for a low maintenance kind of day. Come the start of the week it's presentations and piles of homework for me, but you best bet I'll be daydreaming about going home to just lie on my couch and stare at the ceiling.
